After finding numerous calls on my caller ID, no messages are ever left, I was finally home to answer one day. The caller identified himself as the, "Pennsylvania Fraternal Order of Police" and warned me that the phone call maybe be monitored. I then ended the call.
The FOP is not looking for donations. An organization that is anti police has a robodialer set up with the FOP main number as the callback. It's designed to further inflame the general public against law enforcement. From the comments, it appears to be working.
Obviously these calls have started up again since the holidays. We have gotten 2 calls in June 2015. The caller ID is
UNKNOWN, and haven't answered since the phone # is unfamiliar.
Called and did not leave a message? Scam time?
