Everyone who has this happen needs to call Frontier and report it. It happened to me when a number from a different area code calls me. It happened at least 3 times now. They think I am crazy because I am the only one who reported this problem. Also found out the 717-260-5187 is not owned by Verzion like the internet says. I would like to report the problem to the 717-260-5187 owner so they can call Frontier and comment about there number's ID is being hijacked.
Patrick, do you have Frontier as your phone company? I get calls labeled as "Mongoose" with that same number all them time, both on my home phone and work phone. This time it was my brother-in-law. I think it is some sort of glitch with Frontier Communications that causes calls to get labeled as "Mongoose"
Got a call at work from my spouse (who has a completely different number). Spouse works for the Commonwealth of PA. Caller ID log on my work phone came up as Mongoose at this number. Spouse was calling from normal work line (which, as I indicated is a completely different number and definintely not this number). Weird. My work does NOT use Frontier. Don't know what the state's phone company is.
