Looks like a scam. They started texting me about their $2,500 budget for their wedding video. Wanted to put down a $1000 using a credit card. I started asking questions... they wouldn't answer. Just kept mentioning the credit card and making huge down payments now before the wedding. Be careful.

I just got this today. I've been getting a lot of text scams from people who are having a family reunion or birthday party and want to hire me as a photographer. They won't talk by phone because they are "hearing impaired". They insist on using a credit card. If you agree then they want you to also charge the event planner and then pay them back the fee in cash you get. I've had four of these. It's called the family reunion scam.
Here's the SMS message I got today: "Hello..!! I need a Dj service bookdown for my upcoming Wedding Jan 8th, 2016. Our budget is approximately $1,850. Let me know if you are available and Okay with the price? Thanks- Patrick Wallace"
