Scumbag telemarketer/scammer for sure. I got a call from this number, did not answer it. There was a short voicemail left, about 5 seconds in length, but there was no message. Upon calling this number I got a barely understandable recording about doing something to get removed, but I doubt that would happen. Blocking it.
Got a call with a recorded voice about student loan forgiveness. I was given the option to have a free consultation or to be removed from the list.
I considered getting the free consultation, since I don't have any student loans and wanted to see what kind of made up things they had for me, but decided to just hang up and block the number instead.
Actually answered because the area code was that of a relative. It was an automated call about student loans, of which I have known and haven't had for at least 20 years.
