This was noted as a wireless telephone call. The recorded message was the old IRS debt scam with the call giving notice that a warrant was about to be issued against me, and I should call back for additional information on how to send money. This site gives the calling area (717) as Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Typical IRS scam. All the classic red flags are there: Call displays as "WIRELESS NUMBER" on Caller ID; The message contains vague & shady info designed to scare you into calling back; When you do call back, the calls is full of background noise & the reps all have heavy foreign accents yet have ultra-American names such as "Denise Black" & "Jennifer Blackwell" & "Tom Stevens"....When you ask them where the are located, they recite "IRS Headquarters in Washington DC", even though this number is a spoofed Harrisburg PA area number. It's all so phony that I can't believe so many folks still fall for it & pay up....If you get a call, report them to local authorities as well as the IRS & FBI.....
