So they are phishing and I'm not biting.
Phishing = prank.
Found on another site that this is a FOP or policeman's charity scam wanting a credit card donation. Not going to happen.

They called again to day and they can keep calling - I won't answer.
They will have to ID themselves which is no guarantee I will pick up.
They will have to leave a message, which is no guarantee I will call back.
They called again - I didn't answer, no message.
But on another site someone said 'they' were collecting for firefighters.
Either way it's a false charity call and = phishing spam
