ID was CenturyLink. This was the third call without a message. I doubt that CenturyLink would call at 5:15 pm on Saturday evening. Surely another false ID with a scam behind it. Now blocked.
Yes, we have been having the same problem. We get calls atleast three times a day from this number which comes up Century Link on caller ID and they never leave messages. Most recent has been at 845 pm on a Friday evening!
This number is reported as scam and/or spam all over the net. When I call back it said, "Welcome to Century Link, for English please stay on the line." Then in Spanish, "For Spanish please press 9." It went on to say what services were available such as repair, billing, etc. It also suggested that for additional services, "please visit us at century link. com." So the phone number appears to be a legitimate Century Link number but why they are calling is not readily apparent. Furthermore, even though it is a Century Link number there's no way to assure that it is, in fact, Century Link that is calling, given the "spoofing" that goes on. I am a Century Link customer and I have received calls as late as 7:00 pm regarding an upgrade in my area but they always left a message.
