This number has called several times/day for weeks now. Just got tired of it and answered. Woman's voice called me by name and asked if they could count on my donation AGAIN this year for children's leukemia something. I told her we only donate locally. She said she'd like to send out an envelope for our donation this year. I told her I didn't donate last year. She said they wouldn't be calling if I hadn't. Just hit me the wrong way and I told her in a not very polite way to take my name off their list. It's a real pain and it just goes on and on. Should be a law because the do not call lists are a joke. I refer to this as telemarketer because no other category offered below suits.
Glad I missed this caller that didn't leave a message. I haven't donated to any charity causes by mail or phone in years so they would be fibbing if they told me the same story - that I'd donated last year and am on their list...(like they told Stf who commented on Sept 17th).
I could only guess that this is one of those organizations that calls and ends up keeping most of what they collect for themselves and advancing very little to the actual charity of they are calling for.
Our family volunteers and we donate anonymously, when we do. If 'they' had put Charity in the ID I wouldn't have picked it up either.
HarisbgZN1 tells me absolutely nothing except that this caller isn't from my area. And I tend to stay local with donations. So that's why I'm calling this a prank because there is no choice for scam or spam.
Could also have been a spoofed call since I looked up HarisbZN1 and found this:

Same Harsbgzn1 in the ID. Called again at around noon. Since I knew from here who 'they' were and am not in the mood to play anymore I picked up. I said; "I do not make donations over the phone. Please stop calling this number!" and hung up.
Don't care if they donate 100% or 10% to the charity they call for. I will not donate to any phone solicitation.
