Little do these people realize or care how absolutely ignorant it is to not give a caller an opportunity to at least say that they are not interested. I bet I'll begin receiving countless calls over the next week, until their telecommunication provider finally pulls the plug on them.
I'm a doctor. I got a call at 8:12 on a Saturday morning (Eastern Time) from someone addressing me as "Miss" and calling herself Bonnie Shir (Sheer?) and stating she was with Medicare National Government Services. She asked me to call back that morning before noon to "do a quick verification" of something unspecified having to do with my hospital. She left the callback number 717 565 3511, which I called, and got a real-sounding voicemail.
This is in fact the main line to National Government Services. You probably wont get a live person to answer this phone number, but if you have the last 4 numbers of a person like one of the previous posters did. you may get a live person. The company islegit and They are in fact Medicare representatives. Hoping this helps with some questions...
