Called mid day. Got 'em: from another site (took me about three pages into the search):
It's a FOP = Friends of Police
"....wanting money for families of fallen police officers. He said his name but I think it was Jamison ??. He wanted to send a form for me to complete with donation."
The FOP never leave a message. Most of the money, I've read goes to the 'collectors' so they know that if they spoof a number or leave the ID blank those without ID might pick up. And sometimes it could be a robo call so 'they' only pick up the first response and all others get dropped. Not a good way to do business.
This 'false' charity to me is just an annoying prank because they are calling from out of their area. This one was from a city about an hour from me. I would rather stay local. And since I have family in the 'Force' I don't feel I need to make an extra donation.
