Calling to give me a free business listing. Since I buy a "Yellow Pages Craft Information booklet" every year, I thought they were from that company. They said that they were from "Yellow Pages" and had a PA phone number" They said they would send me more information and I could ignore or sign up for full survice. Then started talking about my phone service and talked so fast that I could not understand what they were saying. They said that was just part of a disclaimer. I would not give them anymore information than they already had at the time of the call. They tried to get my birthdate and other information. I just hope that I don't find that somehow my phone service gets switched to someone else. It seemed that considering the last 2 minuted of their fast take (of which I did not catch very much) was about my phone service.
Second call from this number wanting to give my business a free listing in ONLINE Yellow Pages Directory.
First call was an obvious scam as when I was told they were transferring me to Quality Control, you could tell the woman was simply handing the phone receiver to another guy.
Had a hard time understanding my words, "Sorry not interested" finally just hung up on the guy.
