I've been getting calls from this number as well. I called Met-Ed, what they told me is that every quarter the state requires them to issue reports that has customer information on it, address and phone numbers. They removed our phone numbers from appearing on this list however they can't remove the address. So if you have Met-Ed and call them and have your phone numbers removed from this report
telemarketer claims to be an electric supplier and says i recieved info on their low rates. when i said i didnt read any of this or wasnt interested she got very rude, asked me why not then said shed be calling back and hung up on me!
I got a phone call too from this lady saying I would save 10% on my bills... asked for the person in charge of the bill.. why not by name then? Didn't understand the point of the call.. she wanted info off my bill.
I have iron clad evidence that this rude and obnoxious telemarketer got our name and number from a list sold to them by Met-Ed, our electric company in PA

I talked to them once and they said that they are trying to save me money by giving the daily price on electricity as it fluctuates rather than pay my Met ED their rounded off charges.. suppose to be a third party that just gets u savings apparently for nothing.. I am not sure why and if Met Ed would allow a third party to get involved with their clients but its annoying because I know they are not doing it for nothing so whats the real deal.. its just odd, how am I going to save money with one company and pay the bill with the other..If Met Ed wants to give me better prices then they could just do it..
