got first call @ 10 pm; hard to understand the young-sounding man, good bit of background noise, listed as "private" on my cellphone. Would not answer my questions (what? who is this?). Called again a short time later, again hard to understand, didn't respond to my queries. This time his phone number DID show up on my cell, so I called back to see if I could find out what the heck was going on. (at this point I thought that it might be a friend of my daughters', but when they got home from a movie, they checked their contacts list) He called a third time, same stuff.
Then he called @ 12:45 AM, waking me up. He said "tell my fiance to answer her phone" and hung up. I called back and tried to say "you've got the wrong number, stop calling..." but he hung up on me before I got very far.
(out of the four calls that he made, twice it was listed as a "Private" number and twice as "717-712-9436")
Then I called ATT, but (I'm paraphrasing) there wasn't much they can do, they don't have the technology to block calls like that.
