I just got a voice mail from this number. My phone did not ring, the number doesn't even show up on recent or missed calls, only on the voicemail screen and notifications area of my phone.
The automated message was for a myfedloan.org regarding a federal student loan. I don't have a federal student loan, though I do have student loans (but they aren't federal at all and are up to date).
Turns out myfedloan.org is registered to a certain Higher Education Assistance Agency, though the website's contact email is for an aessuccess.org
Sounds like a scam to me. The weird part is that the number doesn't show up on my recent calls at all!
Got a call from this number on my cell phone. Didn't answer. The mesaage left indicated that they were some servicing company and were calling in regards to a student loan account (which I have don't have). They also mentioned that I could go online to myfedloan.org to access my account. They also provided their hours of operation.
