7 Calls in 10 minutes! SERIOUSLY??? I'm going to report them too...How they get this much information is beyond me. I told them I was going to have them arrested for harassment. Then they say they are going to call my work. That would be a neat trick if they actually did that. Oh the fun these foreign call centers must have.
Micky Barrer (I think is how he spelled his last name) has called harressing me, cursing at me, and left a message stating it was in the best interest of my family to talk to him. He wanted my social securtiy number.
First it was an indian-sounding woman telling me i owed on a payday loan (which i've never done in my life), then she said maybe it was a student loan (which I've also never done), i told her she was making no sense and she turned me over to her supervisor. He said the same things and I said 'If you can't even tell me who I owe the money to, I'm not paying it' ($480) They talked about dinging my credit score, taking me to court, etc. I asked if they had my social security #, he said "we're not allowed that information". Not allowed to have it, or not allowed to give it out? Sounded like BS, but it was still scaring me. Again with the Indian accent you can hardly understand. Then he knocked it down and said I had to pay at least $200. When I said no way, he said "fine, we'll see you in court" and hung up on me. Harrassment!!!
I have had repeated calls from this number harrassing on my job! I haven't the slightest clue how they got my information and it is still unclear what debt they are trying to collect on! I have called my local authorities and they advised me to get their mailing address and go down to the courthouse and file a complaint, but.... They have gave me several "no such" addresses( you can look up the legitimacy on USPS.com-Zip code lookup) and a fax number 610-672-9968. Who knows if that is real! Anyway, My next attempt is the consumer reporting agency, Consumer protection and/or any goverment authority that could seemigly help erradicate these tyrants! Please pass on and share. Thanx.
