Why would anyone answer a phone call that does not show a number or shows a number on caller ID if you do not know the person calling you. Very few people out there do not have caller ID and if a unknown call comes in and you don't answer they will find another way to contact you if it truly is important.
some "furnace" or home improvement scam company....said would send 2 inspectors to my house to check my "flu"...told them I have electric and radiant heat don't have a furnance or flu...told guy to never call me again, he got smart I told him to f off...and I'm coming to get you now.
Steelton, PA based call... they clean exhaust pipes and furnace for oil burning furnaces. Told them I have gas furnace, they apologized for interruption. Lady on phone wasn't hostile or rude.
Women called stating she was calling to schedule the annual inspection of the flu for an address that we no longer live at. I informed her this company has never been out to clean that as we never had a chimney. I asked her why she was being so deceitful with her information and her call acting like this is something that I've done annually and they been to my home before. When I questioned her she hung up
I do not answer any phone calls that I don't know the person or company that I have had dealings with. That is why I have caller ID. This call I received hung up after four rings because they did not want answering machine to pick up. Scammers usually do that,
