I got a call from this number yesterday. On the caller ID they left a message to call the number back immediately to advoid being arrested. Not once did they say who they were trying to contact. So I called him back. A guy who did not speak very good English answered the phone sergeant someone whom I didn't understand and asked who I was. I told home sergeant smith and he immediately hung up. So I called him back. I said why would you hang up on me after calling to harass me saying your were with the IRS and that you were coming to arrest me. He said he was with the IRS. I then said your full of s**t. You more than likely cannot spell IRS. He said your local police department is on their way to arrest you. I said great I'm waiting. And by the way what is your location so they can get you too for falsifying the IRS. He then said F you and hung up. The phone number now says it is not a working number when I call. Go figure. They need to figure out a better way to make a living than scamming people. And out country needs to find a way to show them what arrest means.
Arrest warrant scam/phishing call. Caller ID showed Mechanicsburg, PA. Left message, which I deleted after hearing enough to know it was a scam. Number blocked in Asterisk.
I got this call a few minutes ago ITS A SCAM they wanted 3025.50 from me and threatened me with jail and arrest, i hung up after telling them i would contact the IRS directly, he stated i would go to jail, i hung up and looked the number. i then called back and was told i would be arrested within 30 minutes, TOTAL SCAM

He said I'm not Sherlock I'm sergeant Green with the IRS and the local police should be there shortly to arrest you. I said great I could use 3 free meals a day. How about you. He said I'm not going to jail. I said maybe you need to find a job. He said I have one. I'm with the IRS. I said ooh. That's right I forgot. He said listen bud your going to jail.
