The callers say they are from the yellow pages and they need me update my company's FREE yellow page listing. the callers have a very heavy accent from some middle east county (pakistan, india?)
i would constantly hang up on them and then finally i gave in and gave them my company's info along with my name and title. a couple of weeks later the phone calls begin again. i just received a phone call today and i stopped the caller in mid sentence and asked him why he was calling me when i just gave him my information last month, of course he said they were missing information and they were double checking.
i would like to know if they are using this as a way to make money or what i can do get them to stop calling me every month.

They call me too, 2 or 3 times a day, when you call that number it says it is disconnected ! So if it is how do they call? I dial *57 which reports the number to my phone company. See if your state has a "Do Not Call" list available like PA, then if they call they can be fined.
This number calls me I do not answer, they hang up on my answering machine. When I call the number back the message says it is a disconnected number, no further info, blah, blah, blah. I dial *57 to report it. Maybe enough times it will be removed.
