We have been getting calls from this number every 2 hours during the day. The person says that they are from the 'Committee for Fiscal Fairness'. We are on a 'do not call' list but it does not seem to matter to them.
Today, I received two phone calls from 718-000-0000 but didn't answer because I don't know who is calling. Thanks to the ID caller device. I'm also on the Do not call list. Thank you to all of you for the info. At least, I see I'm not the only one.
I received THREE calls from this number today. I, too, have signed up with the Do Not Call registry. My Caller ID shows the caller as "New York Caller" which I sometimes get from Cell Phone Callers. If it's so important, why don't they leave a message? Poof! Be gone already!
