I don't answer numbers I don't know. They left no vm. I googled the number and this site was the first hit...obviously it's a scam. People need to be careful what numbers they answer and call back. You never know these days.
This number called me tonight at 1045pm obviously on my cell for the first time. Yet when I answered it there was nothing there no sound or nothing I didn't call it back I don't know anybody in New York. I have now blocked the number with Mr number an app that you can get in the Play Store as well as my own phone blocking method that's preloaded in phone.
I was checking my phone and saw 4 missed calls from this exact number. I decided to call back but it said the number was invalid. I have family in California some I don't talk to but I assumed it was maybe somebody I knew so I looked up the area code and it says the area code is from New York. I came to this site and found out other people got the same call from this number and say its a scam so I don't intend to answer ant of these calls.
