I received a call from this number 718-228-1157 as well as 718-228-1154 & 212-736-6919 a few times now after attending the "Everything to do with Sex Show" in Halifax, NS where I filled out ballots to win free trips and so on but apparently it's a HUGE SCAM!! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!! People have fallen for this and have lost money because there is no trip and the person calling probably isn't even using their real name!! They never leave messages either! Apparently, they say they're calling from Majesty Cruise Lines or something like that.

You make a very fair argument Christie and Susan. You both have had pleasant experiences with companies like this and I'm happy you did. A company that takes your money and disappears are labeled as 'SCAMMERS', and since this is a real company I guess they shouldn't be labeled this way. However, what this company is doing is definitely deceiving. Examples, claiming you're a chosen winner of a package when you're not. Claiming you may cancel at any time then refusing to comply. Claiming that Florida State Statute 559.933 applies only to local purchasers when they know very well that it applies to everyone. This company was even featured on the Canadian news.
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has received countless complaints about this company. 'SCAMMERS'? no. They may be a legitimate company, but they take your money and do everything they can to keep it, even if it means ignoring the law.
Hmm... I was also contacted by this company, similar circumstance as those above. I have trouble believing you considering this company was featured on the news as a warning. I think I'll take their advice instead.
