I am very surprised that my name is circulating in internet. I have disconnected this phone number almost two years ago when i had VONAGE as telephone provider. Since then i do not USE OR HAVE this phone number. It seems like thieves are not anymore on the street, but they already have all our records. I hope this information will help you.
Today on March 21, 2008 at around 9:30 PM eastern time I called VONAGE telephone company and informed about the number 718 238-3340 which is being in use, and my name being part of it. They promissed that they will investigate the problem. Tomorrow I will also call my current telephone provider and inform them about the situation, because you never know where this call come from.
Calla almost daily. I file a complaint with the DoNotCall.gov each time they call. Please everyone else who gets a call from this number do the same. Maybe the FCC will do something if they get enough complaints.
