The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!
I got a call from this number at 12:57 PM on 24-Dec-14. The recorded caller said something like: "... We're calling you about your credit card. There's nothing wrong with your account right now but please contact us to reduce your rate to 6.9%. This will be your final notice. Press "1" now to speak to a representative. Press "2" to end this service." I pressed 2 and they went away.
The card service scammers WILL 'service' our credit cards, BUT, when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!
So far, I've received 2 calls, but fortunately I missed both of them. They left no message. They've called on my cell phone, which makes their call an illegal one. Also, my number is on the do not call list.
Received a call from 1-717-269-9755, they say they have a grant for me in the amount of 50,000.00 and wanted a cell phone number and insisted to get one. it says SCAM all over it.
