Male said calling about windows PC, you have problems. Advised don't have computer. Asked where got my number. Male said from the international router file but I don't need to know about that.
this number showed on my caller id and I answered the phone. The male voice sounded like he was an east india accent. He asked to speak to owner of computer I asked why he said he needs to speak to owner because problem with computer. I said there is no problem with computer and tried to ask him his name but he hung up. This call was at 9:35 on august 30th 2014.
I rec'd a call stating the same thing as "J". He stated he worked for Windows and when asked the name of his company he said "DC Repair" who I'm writing to as well. I don't have caller id and I asked for the name of his company and phone number. He asked why and I stated I would be passing this onto the police and told him to become more ethical. He hung up...no big surprise here.
No answer on the other end when I answered. I don't wait long before hanging up when there's silence, it was probably computer dialed and he didn't get to the phone quick enough when I answered.
I did not answer the call as it came at 5:50AM!!!!!!! I don't plan on returning the call as it is from the US and I am in Canada. It's bad enough to receive nusiance calls but when they don't even bother to check the time when they are calling doesn't inspire me to find out why they called in the first place.
