They called the company I work for. A guy with a sarcastic personality wanted to try to save us money on our electric. He asked my name and who our electric company was. I kept telling him I have no authority to changes made on the electricity and that the owner was out of town until tmrw. He still persisted in getting info out of me, but I was honestly super busy and annoyed. I apologized and told him I had to hang up and for them to call when the owner was back. He sounded disappointed and said "ok". While on the call I spoke to 2 different guys and they were extremely pushy. I'm not sure if it's a scam, but they were very unprofessional, so beware.
I answered the phone call from this number. The person on the phone asked for the owner of our business (had the right owner). I said he was not available and she said she could only talk to him because it was referencing our electricity. She claimed she works for a corporation that Reliance, TXU and several other companies fall under. I took a message and she provided me with a Florida call back number. Not going to pass it on and not going to call back. There are no issues with our current provider and our bills are paid on time. If there's an issue, I want to hear directly from my provider and not a "parent company". I imagine she's just trying to sell something.
