Left a message stating his name was Mr. Marshall. He had a complaint against me that he received via fax this morning. He even pulled out some USC 18 sec 1344 about bank fraud. That I had 72 hours to make a statement. He never left a company name. Never said anything.
Just looked up the number & was able to get a location & street view, thank you Google Earth. It's coming from an apartment building on West 14th St in New York. Near them is a tanning salon, a salvation army, & a few restaurants. People are so insanely ignorant with the technology of today. Do they think people won't figure it out?! Scam, scam, scam!!!!
any reputable company would start with facts and give their full company name and no threats of arrest over debts, debtors prison were done away long ago. never give them your name or even the number they dialed. they are phishing hoping you give them your full name or repeat the phone number they dialed. if they were who they say they would have your full name, location and any information about the matter at hand. again
