They called me, identified themself as a Microsoft Technician, stating "My computer had contacted THEM to say it was not working, correctly!" I informed him, that was a lie, as my computer had crashed a month ago, and was in fact unplugged at this time! Then I hung up!
I am reporting this phone number 1 (718) 303-5946 due to the inconsistent business association and strongly appears to be a scam/con line. It is from a landline on Staten Island, New York. Unfortunately I can't get any further information than that because most of these reverse number lookup site requires you to pay to get full info. They never leave a message, but according to most of these people commenting on the same number, it appears that they are trying to gain sensitive information for whatever nefarious reasons and is deemed malicious harassment/mischief. If it is a landline, it can be located, and if it can be located, it can be busted. So please nail this turkey!
Just got a phone call from this number they said my name but then hung up, I'm assuming they are trying to scam or something I tried calling the number back but could not get through! I'm reporting this number. Its a scanner....
