I got a call from 718 303 9080. It was Russian and it sounded like a pre recorded political message.
I have an eastern European name and therefor could be mistaken for Russian.
I am on the do not call registry so I don't know how they got through.
Don't ever pick up these calls,they are all scams of some kind.
I have received numerous calls from 718-303-9080, in Russian, for Richard Brodsky's campaign. I speak about 10 words of Russian but I repeatedly heard "Richard Brodsky" and one mention of "ground zero." Brodsky is an Assemblyman from Westchester County and a Democratic candidate for New York State Attorney General.
I called 718-303-9080 back and found that it is a calling card service provided by Davidson Phone Co. The business office is 212-967-7833. I spoke to a young woman who said that her company could not be responsible for the actions of its customers. Hopefully, she is reading from a script and takes more responsibility for her own actions than her company takes for its.
I then called Richard Brodsky's campaign office at 914-332-4940. I spoke to Will who apologized for the phone calls, asked for my name and phone number, and said that my number would be removed from the Brodsky list. He also said that the Democratic primary is today and that I should not receive more calls once the primary is over.
If you have been receiving calls like I have, I encourage you to call Davidson Phone Company and Richard Brodsky's campaign and urge them to end the harassment.
