Its been a couple of weeks since I received a call from the number. Originally they were listed as Skytel Paging. Now they are listed as Mpower Energy.
This is a obvious scam if they are using ConEd as a part of their gimmick when calling areas not served by them.
I DONT KNOW WHY THEY TRYING WITH ME, BECAUSE THEY CAN'T FOOL THE FOOLER!!!!!!!!!!!. THE FIRST THING I ASK HIM WAS TELL ME MY SOCIAL. THE WHOLE THING. BECAUSE IF YOU COLLECTING A DEBT FROM ME YOU SHOULD NO IT.
Received two calls the past two days from this number. I answered yesterday because I am expecting to be contacted by "EMPower Solar" and thought it was related. I suspect these scammers are now DBA "MPOWER ENERGY" deliberately cause this confusion.
I answered the phone today to chew them out. I filed complaints with both the National Do Not Call Registry and Better Business Bureau.
Searching the phone number turns up associations both in the Bronx and Brooklyn.
