Lady with thick accent, asked me questions regarding how much i made peer year, and what my age was. I went along with it, until her end had too much statistic and i hung up.
This number called the place where I work. Guy with thick accent first asked for my boss who was not there at the time so he asked to talk to me. First he said he wasn't selling anything and was not a solicitation call, but once I hung up the phone and redialed this number, it takes me straight to an automated message asking me if I want to put this solicitation call on the do not call list. If these people call you, just tell them you're not interested at the beginning cause they are so pushy. They asked me a bunch of questions about how much I make and stuff. Basically, they are a life insurance company trying to promote their business and they do this by having telemarketers call other businesses. They told me I was illegible to win a prize on their "scratch off game". I hung up on them but they called back two or three times right after that. I answered finally and they said not to hang up on them. I caved in and gave them my name but refused to give my cell or email. They said they'd come personally by my work the following week to give me the scratch card to see if what I won. I got a little scared but didn't think anyone would show. But someone did show up asking for me. He was actually a decently nice guy. He was basically trying to sell me life insurance and asking me questions but I told him I wasn't interested and he wasn't there long. He gave me the scratch off slip there and I scratched it and supposedly, I won a trip for two to Florida and a Bahamas cruise though I'm not sure of its authenticity but I know it's not a completely free trip. So these people are just trying to promote their company. If you don't want them to call back again cause they are pushy, just call back this number to be put on the do not call list. They haven't called since then. But if you wanna play along, you can supposedly win something like a vacation or an iPad. The guy who came by in person was not pushy and didn't talk to me long when I said I wasn't interested.
