Seemingly nice people on the phone but are either extremely incompetent (nobody knows what's going on) or are exceptionally bad liars (if you have the patience to actually listen to what they're saying you should be able to catch numerous inconsistencies during just one conversation!)
Their inability to get an agreement to the consumer in a timely manner is very unprofessional. (Over a six week period they supposedly sent documents to me via USPS twice and I've never received either copy. And their inability or unwillingness to scan & email documents to the consumer is equally unprofessional in this day & age of modern technology.)
And their continued harassment after they've already received a payment LARGER than what is due is very upsetting. Just because you have an agreement in place with these clowns may not mean they will abide by the agreement. My final payment is due within the next few weeks. If they continue their harassment after that, I'll let you know.
Dave Ramsey is absolutely right about debt collectors.
