Called me 7:20 June 9th.
Called saying won a trip to the "Bahamas."
Asked for credit card number, brother was on the phone said he'd call them back gave us this number to call them back at: 1-800-231-1298
Sounds like a scam.
They called back, and told them we weren't interested in their scam.
Hahaha, that's funny, they let me put them on hold while I was "contacting a friend"
I have won a trip before, and actually legitimately won from P&G. I was contacted by their events manager and he told me about what I won. These guys at bahamas cruise didn't they confirmed my excitement, but I was asking all the right questions and I stumped them. I asked " how many people won?" and the first girl said " only 3 people were offered this" and I talked to the manager. her manager said " only three percent were offered"
Overall, DON'T TAKE IT!! It sounds like a great offer, and you actually do have 7 days upon receiving the package" to cancel your trip and get your money back; but the fact that they said I need to give my credit card number or it's not valid sounds extremely sketchy.
ALSO: They Don't have a BRN# in which I could look them up.
Received several calls on my cell phone (never get calls from unknown numbers), and after reading the above posts, realized it was probably from the last concert I went to where I had entered a draw for a trip to the Bahamas. Called 1-800-231-1298, the number provided by John (Thanks John!), "Customer Care" answered and asked for my phone # and reservation #. Informed her that the # I provided was the # I wished to have removed from their call list. She asked for first and last name to put through the removal request; I resisted, but she insisted the only way the request would be fulfilled was if the name and phone # matched their files. Provided the information, and was assured that my # would be removed... We shall see.
