This number is calling my direct dial at work and the direct dial of others in my office. They call almost every day for weeks and sometimes more than once a day. I don't want their product so I don't answer. They don't leave a voice mail. I'm going to answer next call and tell them that their calls are harassing. Needless to say, this is leaving me with a very poor impression of Dreyfus.
I also just received a "missed" call from this telephone number and it is Dreyfus Funds, a stock agency who is calling to see if the shareholders received a "proxy" in the mail. They called 3 times yesterday and 3 times today with no voice message. I just called them and told them to take me off their call list, which they did, and that if they are a company, they should practice professional courtesy and leave the caller a message. Call them back and tell them to take you off their call list. That way, if they keep calling you, you can indicate that you did, in fact, tell them to take you off their list and you would have a better case against them should they persist on calling you.
