This number has called me three times in the last two weeks. I answered it today. They said they were some company called "Convergence Outsourcing" (or something like that.. he said it so fast I didn't get the full name). working with Paypal. They asked for me by my full name and wanted to confirm my account by asking for my address. I asked what it had to do with Paypal. they refused to tell me unless I confirmed my account. Hahah, yeah right. Paypal does have my number on file but I wasn't giving my info out, especially when this number didn't come up anywhere on google. I posted on their facebook page and Paypal is good w/ responding to posts so I'll update here with their answer.
They constantly call my cell phone. When I answer they are not there. When I call back a recording tells me to wait for a operator acts then someone picks up tells me the call will be recorded and the company is convergence. They ask if I am returning a call and please wait while they look up my number. They then ask if I am Steven ********. I all them what this is in regards to and they tell me it's a private business matter for Steven ******** am I that person. I ask them again what this is in reference to and they hang up. If you call from a blocked number it comes up as a Verizon error..
Dues anyone know how we can report this as harassment?
[No Name] has called my cell 6 times in the past 2 weeks. I do have a PayPal account, but they do not have my cell phone #. There is no chance this is legit.
