Caller claimed to be the IRS - saying there was a warrant out for my brother's arrest for not paying taxes (which he paid). The number called both his cell phone and house phone.

They called me pretending to be from IRS, saying I have an arrest warrant on my name. As soon as I said no I don't, and by law IRS wouldn't be allowed to call me with this, the indian sounding woman hung up. lol
Oh and you can't call that number back. Smooth guys lol
definitely a scam. indian woman with a bad accent called me 4 times today pretending to call from IRS. i could not hear her and she just hung up then;)))
They left a voicemail, claiming to be the IRS. Some British/Indian girl-her accent was pretty thick. Saying there was an arrest for a warrant i supposedly have. I had to call back in a certain number of hours, or I'd be arrested. Forward to 10 hrs later-not arrested! Joy! But seriously though, the IRS doesn't conduct business this way so don't buy into this ridiculous scam. I just blocked the number.
I just got a call from them too, they wanted $6800 to avoid arrest...what a bs...I actually called them back on this number just now and she answered as IRS Revenue service, and I asked IRS in United States or India..maybe Pakistan? and she hang up on me...hahahha! :D
