I tried, but it seems one can not simply dial and connect to this number. Not an unworking number message - but simply 'can not be completed as dialed'.
I know it happened Very Shortly After I placed a call to a NY Photography Store from an Ad In A Search Engine - when I placed the call - the connection was changed from one number to the next about five times and then I was connected to a photog company in NYC... Shortly after that, I got this call from 718-676-8177 but didn't answer it. I'm sure they got the number from 800 # caller ID system and tried to return my sales call.
I got a call from this number after purchasing a gray market camera from Prestige Camera in Brroklyn. The camera broke and I sent it back never to get my money or hear from them again
I also got a call from that # and I answered. The person who talked to me had an East Indian accent. It is "d-buys.com". I had ordered a camera a few days ago and it is standard practice to call the customer just to verify the shipping address and to make sure there is no fraud.
Lots of stores have 2-4 "internet" companies yet they are all the same. Go to this great website with pics of the photo stores!
You'll see that many of these so called Camera internet stores are actually some old broken down retail store run by middle-easterners, usually muslims or sephardic jews.
It doesnt matter, as long as they can deliver.
I have seem buydig and beachcamera a million times and found that they are one in the same co.
