I just got a call from the same company the guy stated his name was officer Jack Cooper I know I didn't have any PDL and the ones I had was over 3 years ago so I knew this was a scam. He called again and I kindly told him where to go and to drop my number or I would have him arrested and sued for harrassment.
I rcvd a call from the exact #. He states his name was Mark Smith from Oakview Law Group and that I had an outstanding balance for a loan 3 yrs ago until now. He threatened me and gave me an ultamadim to pay up during the conversation or get served. He couldnt verify the info that I was requesting for to make sure the call was authenticated. As an attonery, you would think he would have all his supporting documents. He couldnt verify the address that was listed when there was an attempt for a loan and he completely gave me someone elses SSN. I made him repeat it 4x and he was so off....All my calls are recorded, once Ive mentioned that. He disconnected the call and when I tried calling back all i got was a beeping tone but once i disable my record a call, the # was working. Im not sure if the sammer had access to not accept recoding call...however I did a research on Oak View Law Group do not do collections. It's a bankruptcy law firm. and No one by the name of Mark Smith.

I receieved the same call at work and stated the same thing his ph # is 718-690-9021
I spoke with the FTC, FBI and the police and I'm filing a report. I told them that I know that they are a scam and if they call again I will have them put in jail.
i got a call from the same guy for the same amount but will not tell me much else. he said it can be settled with 200.00 but if i dont pay they will serve me papers at my work, what do i do?
