They call at least a couple times a day; says his name is Steven and needs to update my company info and starts rattling off info and wants me to confirm, etc. I asked him today if he had a Federal ID # and he gives me FYP0121 I ask him if he knows that Fed ID has 9 numbers and does not contain letters & of course he said this was the only # he has. Asked to be connected to DO NOT CALL department & he still said he needed my name. Long story short, he called me a few choice words and said "Not gonna be his problem when they continue to call"
I answered the call, which I could immediately tell that this was an overseas call. I asked the gentleman to fax me the information so I could verify it. He started pleading with me that he would loose $60.00 for the listing and that the listing would be cancelled. I continued to request a faxed copy and the gentleman started insulting me. He told me to tell my boss that I just discontinued his listing and continued to give me a confirmation number. It is uncalled for when a telemarketer insults the caller.

Looks as though they now claim to be the gas & electric company PSE&G and want to give me a 20% discount on my bills for the next year. Said he needed my account number and was insistent I give it to him ... He would wait while I got it. This had scam (slamming) written all over it. I asked if he was a third party provider but he denied they were. Told him I could not give them any info but he could mail me details on the offer. He had my name, address, and phone number and thought that should verify who he was.
