Called asking if I could receive legal documents for someone I dont know.. Said thanks and hung up.. Called back and its s magic jack number.. Definitely a scam
The name on my caller ID is FAR ROCKAWAYNY 718-713-6455. Caller claimed to be calling looking for a connection for one of our granddaughters by her name, saying our phone number is listed on a paper they have as her cell phone number, can we take legal information for her. Someone has filed a complaint against her, which complaint will be served unless she calls 855-552-993 within 2 hours, giving me a case number she should reference. Our last name and hers is the same.
I said I have an Email address for her, but can't guarantee I can reach her within two hours. He said do the best I can.
He really worried me, but now after researching the number, I'm inclined to think this is a scam.
This woman called and asked if I knew a specific person. I replied yes. She sounded like a bill collector and asked if I would relay a message and when I refused, I let her know I wasn't a messenger, she said "oh really" in a very nasily whiney voice and hung up on me.
This company has no right to call me and harass me because I will not relay a message. Sorry, that's not my job and I will not take on the responsibility or burden.

Called me twice looking for me, but the wrong gender. when i questioned them thoroughly, both men became frustrated and one placed the receiver on what sounded like a desk, the other just hung up. they asked for me (wrong gender) and i said he person moved, hey said this number was stated as their number and I would be brought up on charges. I said impossible because there was no way the person they are looking for had my number because they moved a year before i got it lol. thats when he hung up. I dont like these calls and it has reached a new level of LOW. the last guy who called me was Jacob Hoffman!
