I got this call yesterday (it came up as 10000) on my cell and my job. Well I too have been getting these calls from about a year. Do they think people are stupid? Spoofing numbers, changing their name and bad accents and you want me to believe you are real? As the late Michael Jackson use to say Shum'on!!
I have been getting these phone calls for about a year now. The people who call always say they are Officer so and so. They give me a choice to settle my debt with CashNet or they are taking me to court. They also tell me that I will for sure lose my job and be arrested if I dont take care of this matter. Last call I received was today at my place of employment the phone number on the caller id was a 214 number but the VM the person left me was 718-732-0135 and he said his name was Officer Nick Johnson and that it was very important that I returned his call now so I did that and when he answered he said he was from some sort of law office I could barely understand him due to his thick accent. Then he asked me what phone number I was calling from and I didnt tell him. I told him you should know that you called me. He said well I need your phone number to access your file I refused to give him my phone number and he hung up on me. These people are so stupid to think someone would actually give them any more information over the phone. These people are committing fraud and getting away with it and it is wrong. Some employers dont like you to get too many personal phone calls and I am aware and agree with that and that is why I just send these stupid people to my voicemail when they call. DONT FALL FOR THESE FRAUDALENT PEOPLE THEY ARE JUST WANTING AN AUTHORIZATION FROM YOU TO STEAL YOUR MONEY.
