I have been getting calls regularly from 718 747 3831 with my phone ID showing the name Robert Kurtzer but if I attempt to call back a machine says the number is disconnected. With recent calls I have been teasing the phone solicitors with suggestion that I want to reorder the prescription they have in their data bank so that I can glean information from them. Here's what I found out.
In my case Michael, Jim Smith, Nathan Benson --and I think Jim Smith was calling himself Michael in a previous call ... they seem to get confused when you throw a lot of questions at them-- they have been respresenting themselves as representatives of Global Pharmacy, Canada, who have the task of calling Global customers to expedite reorders. They have all the information of a prior prescription order I placed with Global --name, address, phone #, prescription item, quantity, order dates, and credit card type (Visa, Master, etc) but perhaps not my full credit card number. I don't know. In one instance they wanted me to "verify" my full number. I asked them which card I had used previously. They gave me the last four numbers.
Who are they? Global customer representatives in Canada deny employing reorder solicitors. However, Sandra at Global in Ontario, who claimed she was a supervisor, told me that Global's files were hacked two years ago and she agreed to remove all my files from their records. On another call a month later, I was told by John at the same Global phone number that there was a Sandra in his department but she was not a supervisor and my files were still in tack. I'll call back next month to learn if he actually deleted my records as he said he had. He knew nothing of a hacking. O
The solicitatioon calling center is in Bombay. Michael, Jim and Nathan all call from there using the same several phone numbers, none accessible for call back. Global sends it drug prescription orders to Bombay to be filled. I know that from tracking the shipment of my prescription order. What I do not know is whether the Bombay calling center is Global's, is a supply house contracting with Global, or is a group of men stealing Global's files from the Bombay distributor.
If you were to give your credit card number to this Bombay solicitation group, it will be charged to Unicare Healthcare in Chicago ... or so Nathan told me. Nathan did not want me to hang up before giving the credit card number. I told him I wanted to call him back to verify that he was legitimate (sp?). After arguing with me for 15 minutes and realizing that I was not going to give him a credit card number without calling back, he gave me 979 505-9330. BUT he said I had to call right away because it was 7 AM his time and he wanted to go home to go to bed. Right away! So I delayed calling this new number and sure enough in 3 minutes he called me on that number ... but I didn't answer. Then he called on the first number and I did not answer. A few minutes later I called the 979 number which said the Magic Jack customer was not taking calls.
Let me mention that during my hemming and hawling about the order, Nathan reduced the price of the prescription newal 80 percent. When I told him Michael had already lowered it to 80, Nathan said 85 percent discount. When I told him that was not enough, he threw in a 25 percent increase in quantity.
Some Indian accented asked for my spouse who answered the other phone the same time i did and when this Indian guy was asked who he was he sort of just made noises like he was thinking how to answer that and my spouse hung up. I did a *57 to trace and *69 to call back and of course just like craig above it was not a working number.
