I received a phone call from a female named Tammy this morning about a Manager position. Stating that she found my resume on Career Builders, and she was still wondering if I was interested in a job because they had a job for me. I was a little excited being that I just moved to New York from California. Since its hard finding a job, I told my husband something seemed a little off, so I decided to goggle the address and low and behold I get this website, I think I will just stay home and not waste my Time. Thank You everyone who took time to post about this scam after all these years they are still at it but just switch it up.
I also received a call for an interview from National Income. They said they got my resume from monster or careerbuilder. The appt was set up. I asked for the location and info about the company to be emailed to me. I never received an email. So I decided to look them up on the internet and this is what I've found. Very suspicious and disappointing. I would not want to work for a company with a shady reputation.
The call came in around 2:00 p.m. today. I didn't recognize the number and listened to the message. I am a teacher looking for a teaching position, quite specific. Said they were from Milco and wanted to interview me for a full time position. Strange since I am not qualified for this type of position and I post that I need a job within 8 miles from my home. They are about an hour away or more.
A number of things. I've read a few posts saying that when you requesed info to be emailed you were advised email was down. No reputable company has email down for more than 1hr. Then I've been interviewing for the past two years and I was never told to wear suite and tie. Hello, It's an interview what else are you expected to wear. The person on the oher line did not sound professional. Also I was out of the country for awhile and they left like 10 msgs. I will not even waste my time going down there, I've been doing this for too long. I thank you guys for confirming what my gut already told me.
I received a call about a supervisory position, although I have no supervisory experience. They claimed it isn't a commission job, though clearly from what you people are saying it is a commission job. They were extremely evasive about what the job is and even where the job is located -- they told me it doesn't matter as I could work anyplace. Doesn't that sound like a sales job? They sounded totally deceitful, so I'm glad I researched them and found this website.
Thanks for saving me time... I received a call from the same number (718) 888-9428 on Monday saying that they received my resume and would like to meet with me to discuss a Manager position. I was a bit confused because I didn't remember sending my resume to an insurance company, but I went against my instinct and set-up the interview.
As I was researching the company to better prepare for the interview, I came across this page... I tried calling the number but only received an automated machine.
Thanks so much for creating this page and I hope they don't waste any other people's time!!!
