Second time this number is on my caller ID. (718)-917-8601. A man with an Indian accent asks to speak with the home owner, which I am not. And I tell him that and ask what this pertains to. He says it is about home solar energy, or something like that. He says " when can I cal back when your daddy is home? I told him my daddy is dead and my mommy doesn't want any solar panels on her house, and could you please put us on a do not call list. At that moment he hangs up. This has happened twice in two days. And when you say hello it takes a few seconds before the person says anything, and while you are talking to him it takes a couple of seconds before that person answers, which to me indicate a time lag because the call is coming from India. I've heard that they purchase numbers here in the USA and create these scams to get money out of senior citizens. When I tried to call the number back, a recording comes on and says that this number is no longer in service. Please beware of this scam. If anyone wants solar energy installed on their homes there are enough legit companies out there on the internet you can find. And a little research on your part couldn't hurt either. My wife received a call on Saturday .my son pick up the phone.gave to my wife saying the phone is for daddy. The man that called started out by saying how dear you let your children pick up the phone. And that he been watching my children running wild in the area and she needs to control them and that she a bad mother .on and on with a Indian acc. I also could not call back
