I've been receiving lots of calls from NY area codes.  Today I received a call from 718-925-3238.  I answered but said nothing.  There was silence and then a click.

Received call from this number.  no response.  hung up.  I called back.  message said they declined to accept this call.

calls frequently but no one on line to pursue call.  Great annoyance

Re:718 925-3238: They are now calling me two to three times a day. They never answer.When I call back, they refuse to take my call. Sometimes, when I hang up, it's difficult to get a dial tone back. Phone company does not help. They tell me to get in touch with the do-not-call-registry which I have done. There you are given an automated message to file a complaint. What good is this? The calls persist. What can be done to remedy this annoying matter?
