I got a call this morning. I redialed the #. The man asked if I had received a call from this #. Then stated that I had been on the internet looking for college info. I DO NOT even pay bills online let alone post my name / phone #! He "knew" my name but he didn't give his name! Furthermore the phone is not even listed in my name! WHAT GIVES? He did say he would remove my # from the list, but still what an "intrusion" & before 8 a.m. no less!
I used to work College Bound. If you ever look for school information online they may get your information from that website (certain websites sell info). I will say this.. CB only wants to be helpful. They don't charge anything for their service... they just ask if you want info about colleges and will have the info sent to you free of charge.
It was an ok job but the company paid their employees next to nothing.
