I have been receiving calls from various numbers in Colorado which I don't answer.  I don't live there anymore and I know if a friend calls, he or she would leave me a message  which some of these calls do but I don't answer any of them if I don't find them among my friends.  I look  up the number on the internet and in my contact list.  Block and Delete is the rule of thumb these days.
