I get the same calls... McDonald's of C. Today they called every 10 minutes!!! I won't answer the phone if I don't reconize the number or name. And of course they won't leave a message. I'm going to get on the Do Not Call list... think that will help?
They keep calling here too, and the same thing comes up on the ID as you, Matt. I actually picked up this time and they said they were looking to speak with the person who watches over our cell phone bill because we had a long distance call? Then when I was about to hang up the man said "do you have internet at your house?"... I said yes... then he asked if I listened to R&B or Hip Hop... and I said no... and he said to look up some name because he was an aspiring Hip Hop artist or something... I'm very confused.
They started calling randomly about 4-weeks ago - sometimes a couple of times a day, sometimes once a week. My caller ID simply says "*Colorado - 719-471-2265."
"471" is a Colorado Springs telephone exchange. A local search of the number brings up a company called "Central Telecom Long Distance Inc." located at 1025 S Tejon St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
So, it's just another telemarketer.
Hopefully they get tired of wasting their time and stop calling - eventually...
They have called 2 days in a row now. "McDonald's of C", just like the other guy. I usually answer as "Customer Service" and they hang up immediately. When I call back it's busy, so how do I prevent them from calling again?
