Thanks for the tip. Was able to check out the website prior to calling. 2 nights in Las Vegas to a client is not that great of an incentive when rooms are usually fairly cheap and you still have to get there.
I can see this working for a bar more than a Yacht Dealership that we are.
Called at 11:30 pm Said they were the Tropicana Hotel in Vegas wanting us to partner with them for a golf tournament. Our golf course is in Ontario Canada. All I said was hello, he rambled on for about 2 minutes then slammed the phone down. Never got a word in edgewise.
called our restaurant a few times - auto message has been left on call answer & message starts up when directly answered. He says they are looking for a space to hold an event & they will draw a good crowd, choosing on a 1st call basis. Call were more than a week apart so I guess I am not the only only who don't like to respond to messages like this.
Could be legit but I am already annoyed at the way they contacted us with an auto call.
