Msg left on my answering machine, don't know if the call was actually from this number or just referred to it: Josh Johner (sp?) is a manager for a company looking to hire full and part time workers. He said someone gave him my name, but failed to mention the source. He did not provide his company name (if he is a legitimate headhunter) or the company name who looking for workers (if he works there). I've had several calls from headhunters over the years, and not one has ever failed to mention the company name (I always research the name before calling) - Therefore I view this call as suspicious and probably an attempt at phishing for personal information.
Some more searching found that this number is a cell phone from Colorad Springs, and there are 2 "PFS"'s that come up when googling PFS Colorado Springs. "Pathfinder Financial Solutions" - a mortgage company, and "Primerica Financial Services" menitoned on the ripoffreport.com as possibly being a multi-level-marketing (amway style) organization. Either way, I won't be talking to anyone there...
Got ahold of Mr. Johner after some phone tag and he does represent Primerica Financial Services. He also was calling to offer sales agent positions. Wiki also has a brief rundown of Primerica.
Interesting to find these message here. I am a Regional Vice President with Primerica Financial Services (highly rated on most credible sites.) I often times use my business cell phone. It is the easiest way to contact me. I am not looking for personal information. I get many names referred to me.
