Received automated message regarding breach of contract with no additional information. I have no contracts with anyone that i have breach and this i know for a fact. Total Scam
A robo-call that went to my voicemail. It mentioned "breach of contract" and to press such & such number to connect. I don't know if this is legitimate, or not. It *might* be an attempt to phish for information, or other purpose regarding any debt(s) that you have. If this continues for you from them, search more to try to find source. It *might* be a collections agency, or a collections law firm. Or, it might be a scam. I would look into it, though if I were you. Don't talk to them directly, though. Contact your attorney, if you think this might be real. ... There ARE legitimate collectors that use this "trick."
It's a total SCAM! An automated call mentioning a "breach of contract" more than proves it.
Foreign scammers are always thinking they're sly. That belief always backfires. They never think things through. As soon as one of their gullible, intended victims returns the "fraud call", the scam falls apart. A scammer with an obvious foreign accent is going to answer that call & that scammer is going to be about as intelligent as a Dung Beetle. "Poof"! There goes that intended victim!
Legitimate debt collection is done by mail, by law. If a debt collector calls out of the blue, tell him/her to put a notice of validation in the MAIL! As per federal regulation under the FDCPA. If the collector argues or makes excuses, he/she is a SCAMMER!
